Science museum to host Tinker Tuesday Sept. 15

Mississippi Museum of Natural Science will host Tinker Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 15.

Tinker Tuesday is a special “build-it” day filled with hands-on STEM fun for young learners. Students will explore, create, and play with classic building toys like LEGO® bricks, Lincoln Logs, and more. They’ll also enjoy special make-and-take activities with Home Depot (while supplies last) and have time to discover the wonders of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.

Through playful, engaging activities, students will strengthen spatial reasoning, creativity, and problem-solving skills while learning through exploration and play.

Tinker Tuesday is a new early learner initiative ( K3-second grade) and part is of the Mississippi Science Festival.

Regular museum admission and group rates apply.
