MAGNOLIA update: Academic databases now available on Explora for High Schoolers

An update to the under-18 MAGNOLIA interface now allows Explora for High Schoolers to search several academic databases that were previously available only through the over-18 interface. This change gives high school educators and school library media specialists access to additional academic resources while keeping the search experience age-appropriate for students.

Databases now included on Explora for High Schoolers:

  • Academic Search Premier
  • Bibliography of Indigenous Peoples in North America
  • GreenFILE
  • Newspaper Source
  • Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection
  • Religion and Philosophy Collection
  • Vocational Search and Career Collection

For more information about this update, contact the MAGNOLIA Outreach Coordinator at magnolia@mlc.lib.ms.us or 601-432-4004.
