The Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Curriculum and Instruction, Division of Literacy, announces an opportunity for K-5 teachers, district administrators, principals, lead teachers, and instructional coaches to attend a full day, in-person professional development titled Fall Regional Literacy Professional Development.
The Fall Regional Literacy Professional Development sessions focus on High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM). Participants begin with a whole-group morning session on Tier 1 Small Group Instruction, followed by afternoon curriculum-specific breakout sessions that provide targeted implementation support. To fully engage in the training, participants should bring their latest HQIM assessment data and Teacher Editions.
