The Mississippi Department of Education Office of Compulsory School Attendance Enforcement and Dropout Prevention has requested that local educational agencies complete a Needs Assessment Survey in the past. The Needs Assessment Survey has been replaced with the Alternative Education Program Registry.
The Alternative Education Program Registry and the Student Compilation Reporting Forms serve as the official accountability records of each district’s alternative education program to ensure accurate consistent documentation of program operations, services, and supports. Your timely and accurate input supports programming integrity, drives continuous improvement, and helps ensure students receive high quality education services.
Please complete the Alternative Education Program Registry and the Student Compilation Report on the webpage by June 30, 2026: Alternative Education/High School Equivalency – Compulsory School Attendance Enforcement and Dropout Prevention
