Districts can nominate young students for National Math Stars program

National Math Stars is a free, fully funded, non-profit organization providing over $100,000 in resources for young students who excel at math. The organization recruits second-graders and third-graders to support them all the way through high school, offering free math mentoring, STEM summer camps, family advising, and more.

National Math Stars celebrates those students that are in the top 2% in math performance and sends them gold medals for free to celebrate them through the Awards Program.

Selected students receive up to 10 years of support, including weekly math mentoring, access to advanced coursework, STEM summer camps, and a national community of like-minded peers. For students with significant financial need, the program also provides funding for educational resources and enrichment opportunities.

The mission is simple: talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. By working alongside Mississippi schools, National Math Stars aims to ensure that exceptional young mathematicians have the resources, guidance, and support they need to thrive.
