Bring environmental education to your school

The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality’s (MDEQ) Environmental Education and Outreach Mobile Classroom is available at no charge and ready for bookings. There are 25 and 40-minute programs which use interactive activities, music and theater to teach students about water quality and how their choices can help protect Mississippi’s waterways.

“The River Town Story” introduces students in kindergarten through second grade to water quality stewardship, while “All the Water in the World” engages third- through fifth-grade students in learning about the water cycle, watersheds, pollution and habits that improve water quality.
