Virtual PLC Math Talk series now offers CEUs, SEMIs for math educators

“Balancing the Equation: Leveling the Playing Field for Mississippi Math Instructors (BtE),” the renowned Virtual PLC “math talk” series, has just elevated its offerings for math educators statewide and is now granting Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and School Executive Management Institute Credits (SEMIs) for participants completing the 23-24SY series to empower further Mississippi’s math teachers, interventionists, coaches and administrators.

The BtE school year series comprises eight one-hour sessions, all conducted virtually from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. CST, and what’s even more appealing is that it is entirely free for educators currently holding a Mississippi educator license.

The 2023-24 school year will be dedicated to comprehensively exploring the Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness (MS CCR) Standards for Mathematical Practice (SMP). Don’t miss this fantastic chance to sharpen your math teaching skills and obtain the credit you deserve with CEUs and SEMIs from Balancing the Equation.
