The Mississippi Department of Education’s Office of Elementary Education and Reading, Division of Literacy, is announcing an opportunity for district middle school administrators, principals, lead teachers, and instructional coaches to attend a three-day, in-person professional development training Feb. 21-23, titled Sustaining Adolescent Literacy.
This training focuses on providing middle school literacy professional learning supports aligned to the science of reading practices through daily instructional methods while teaching grade-level content.
