Pre-K ESSER Grant II available to LEAs, applications due Thursday, October 28th

The MDE has designated $3,000,000 in ESSER funds to provide the following activities for districts with Pre-K classrooms.

  1. Educational technology
  2. Activities focused specifically to addressing special populations
  3. Providing mental health services and supports
  4. Sanitization
  5. Summer learning and supplemental afterschool programs

The application is online at Request for Bids, Proposals, Applications, Qualifications for Contracts and Grants | The Mississippi Department of Education (mdek12.org).

Applications are due by 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021.
