Office of Special Education seeks applicants for Literacy Coach (K-3); Apply by June 23

The Mississippi Department of Education Office of Special Education is seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of (SSIP) State Systemic Improvement Plan Literacy Coach (K-3rd) to provide literacy strategies and coaching support to general and special education teachers to ensure students with disabilities receive reading instruction of the grade level curriculum to meet the standards.

The SSIP Literacy Coach (K-3rd) will provide support to assigned schools to ensure that there can be a cohesive, sustained, intensive, and classroom-focused approach to literacy around the five components of reading, focused on students with disabilities.

The deadline for receipt of SSIP Literacy Coach (K-3) Applications  is on or before 2 p.m. Central Standard Time on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
