The Mississippi Department of Education Office of Special Education is seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of (SSIP) State Systemic Improvement Plan Literacy Coach (4th-8th) to provide literacy strategies and coaching support to general and special education teachers to ensure students with disabilities receive reading instruction of the grade level curriculum to meet the standards.
The SSIP Literacy Coach (4th-8th) will provide the general and special education teachers with the tools needed to engage in and educate all struggling readers.
The deadline for receipt of applications is on or before 2 p.m. Central Standard Time on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
