The Mississippi State Fair will offer a special Field Trip Day for every school in the state. On Friday, October 11 the State Fair will open 4 hours early exclusively for the schoolchildren of Mississippi.
Admission to the Fair is $5 and unlimited rides from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. will be offered for $10. Teachers are admitted for free. School Bus parking is free. Chaperones will be offered the same $5 admission and the same $10 unlimited ride wristband.
North American Midway, the ride company for the State Fair, has graciously offered unlimited ride wristbands for this four-hour window for the children of Mississippi. Normally unlimited ride wristbands are $25 or $27 depending on the night, but for this special Friday morning, they will be $10
Fair admission should be ordered in advance. If the order is received prior to September 16, tickets will be mailed to expedite the fun. Buses arriving without pre-ordered admission may experience check-in delays.
Students, teachers and chaperones may bring a lunch. However, the Fair will offer a sack lunch for $5 if ordered in advance.
