The Mississippi Department of Education Office of Special Education is seeking highly qualified applicants for the position of General Supervision Assistant Director Educator in Residence (EIR) of the integrated monitoring for programming and fiscal oversight as well as effective resolutions. Deadline to apply is Dec. 23.
The General Supervision Assistant Director is responsible for monitoring, supporting and training school districts to ensure Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, 2004 (IDEA 2004) compliance and implementation of Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) throughout the state of Mississippi.
The deadline for receipt of applications is on or before Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at 2 p.m., Central Standard Time (CST).
