Mississippi K-12 educators can earn continuing education units (CEUs) at no cost through the Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Network’s (MAIN), Mississippi’s statewide AI initiative, current artificial intelligence course offerings for the 2026-2027 year. See MAIN AI Training Flyer for details.

The FY27 courses are available July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Educators seeking CEUs should pay close attention to applicable CEU requirements and deadlines. CEU requests for the 2026-2027 year must be submitted no later than June 21, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Current 2026-2027 CEU Opportunities
K-12 educators can currently earn CEUs through five AI courses:
* Intel AI for Educators (K-12): Up to 2.4 CEUs
* Google AI Professional Certificate: 1.0 CEU
* Claude: Real-World AI for Everyone: 1.0 CEU
* Microsoft 365 Copilot: 0.5 CEUs
* ChatGPT Foundations for Teachers: 0.5 CEUs
Educators completing all five current offerings may earn up to 5.4 CEUs. Additional CEU-eligible courses and opportunities are expected to be added throughout the 2026-2027 year, so the total number of CEUs available may increase as new offerings become available.
All current courses are available online at no cost and provide flexible, short-term opportunities to build practical, real-world AI skills, and participants earn a micro-credential upon successful completion.
MAIN’s current FY27 Learning Hub includes 10 free AI courses, including six MAIN AI Foundations courses and four Industry AI Courses featuring learning opportunities from Microsoft, Google, OpenAI and Anthropic. Additional courses are expected to be added throughout the 2026-2027 year, and CEU availability may vary by course.
Important 2026-2027 Information
These CEU opportunities, requirements and deadlines apply specifically to the 2026-2027 course year. Information from previous MAIN course years, including previous courses, professional learning credit types, requirements and deadlines, should not be used to determine current eligibility.
For the 2026-2027 year, MAIN is currently offering CEUs only. SEMIs and OSLs are not available through the current MAIN course offerings at this time. Additional CEU opportunities are expected to be added as new courses become available throughout the year.
Educators should review MAIN’s current course information before beginning a course and again before requesting CEUs to confirm current availability, requirements and deadlines.
