District Calendar Updates Due Oct. 1

On August 19, 2021, the State Board of Education (SBE) voted to begin the Administrative Procedures Act (APA) Process and to establish a temporary rule to amend two (2) State Board Policies pertaining to virtual learning, State Board Policy Chapter 9, Rule 9.2 Reporting Attendance for Virtual Learning and Rule 9.3 School-Wide and District-Wide Virtual Learning Days.  Districts should review the revisions to these policies and re-evaluate their 2021 – 2022 school calendars to ensure compliance.    Districts are encouraged to make any necessary revisions as soon as possible, communicate any changes to parents, and post updated calendars to the district website for the public by October 1, 2021.
