In August 2022, districts received notification that Annual Accreditation Statuses would be assigned by the Commission on School Accreditation (CSA) at its upcoming meeting scheduled for Sept. 27.
The Mississippi Department of Education recognizes this is an extremely busy time of year for school personnel therefore, we are extending the time and will allow districts to clear citations still on record until Oct. 21. After this deadline, recommendations will be presented to the Commission on School Accreditation during a special called meeting prior to the November meeting of the State Board of Education. Thank you for continuing to work diligently to clear citations for your district.
