Speakers
Dr. Christina Pate is the deputy director of the National Center to Improve Social and Emotional Learning and School Safety. Her expertise includes school climate, social and emotional learning, health, wellness, and trauma-informed practices.
Zoë Jenkins is a high school senior and the founder and executive producer of the Get Schooled podcast with the Prichard Committee Student Voice Team, which works to elevate student voices in education decisionmaking. She’s also a founding fellow at Civics Unplugged.
Emanuelle Sippy is a high school senior in Lexington, KY. She’s the student director of the Prichard Committee Student Voice Team, an organizer with Future Coalition, and a collaborator on the Education Justice Collective’s Move School Forward campaign.
Veronica Crespin-Palmer is the co-founder and CEO of RISE Colorado, which works to educate, engage, and empower low-income families and families of color to rise as change agents for educational equity in our public school system.
Dr. Kaylene Case is a behavior specialist and school psychologist for Douglas County School District in Colorado. She specializes in trauma and education and has expertise as a staff developer and teacher coach.
