William Carey Posts Record Enrollment

The William Carey University School of Education has posted a record Fall enrollment as well as an all-time record enrollment.  WCU started classes on August 24 and the School of Education has an enrollment of 1,705 students.  This represents an increase of over 35% over last fall. The undergraduate program increased by over 50% with an enrollment of 532 students.  Other than undergraduate, records were also posted in Educational Leadership and the Alternate Route program.  The enrollment of 1,705 is for Teacher Education and Leadership programs only.  Other certification programs such as school counseling and music education are counted in different departments at William Carey University.
