The Mississippi Department of Education’s Offices of Secondary and Elementary Education have updated the list of English as a Second Language (ESL) courses for district use.
The updated Approved Course Code Manual includes all currently available ESL courses and two new courses for newcomer English learners. The manual includes course names, course codes, and course descriptions. The ESL courses can be found under Bilingual Education in the manual (beginning on page 132).
