U.S. Census Continues until Oct. 31

A federal judge ordered Administration officials to stop plans to conclude the decennial census early, “after internal U.S. Census Bureau communications warned that a truncated schedule combined with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic could lead to ‘a census that is of unacceptable quality.’”

The Census will therefore continue until the original October 31 deadline. As you may know, Census data is critical for accurate education funding.
