The CMSE is pleased to offer the MATHCOUNTS Coaches Clinic!

Are you a middle school math teacher who wants to inspire a love of mathematics in your students?

MATHCOUNTS is a national middle school mathematics competition designed to help all students experience the beauty and joy of mathematics. Each year, the CMSE partners with Dr. Sam DeLeeuw, retired Engineering Professor, to host the MATHCOUNTS Competition for the chapters of North Mississippi (Northeast Chapter, Northwest Chapter, Tombigbee Chapter, and Delta Chapter). Winners from these chapter competitions advance to the state competition and compete for an opportunity to participate on the national level.

During this Coaches Clinic, participants will learn about the different components of the competition, resources available to help prepare teams, and collaborate with experienced coaches.
