Explore Ways to Make Learning Visible in the Science Classroom

The Center for Mathematics and Science Education (CMSE) at The University of Mississippi presents a special session focusing on effective strategies that work best in the science classroom. Participants will discover which aspects of curriculum, instruction, and assessment they can utilize every day to optimize learning for students. Participants will also evaluate the instructional techniques to determine how they can enhance their effectiveness as teachers.

Grade Band: K – 12th

Date: February 7, 2020

Time: 9am – 3pm, includes a one-hour lunch break

Location: Jackson Avenue Center Room Q24, University of Mississippi, Oxford, MS

Registration Fee: $125.00 includes materials and CEU’s This session will include a short online assignment which will be sent to registered participants one week prior to the session. Participants who complete this online portion will be eligible for additional CEU credits. (Attendance & Completion of Online Portion: 0.6 CEUs / Attendance Only 0.5 CEUs)
