School districts are reminded that the Intent to Adopt for state-adopted instructional materials is due Feb. 20.
Submitting the Intent to Adopt helps the Mississippi Department of Education and the state depository plan for timely ordering, efficient delivery, and coordinated curriculum-based professional learning. This step does not obligate funds but signals each district’s plans for the upcoming science adoption cycle.
To avoid delays in materials and implementation support, districts should ensure the Intent to Adopt is completed by the deadline. The district textbook coordinator should submit the Intent to Adopt through TIMS (ClassGather).
