Teacher Strong virtual conference for new educators slated with February, April dates

The North Mississippi Education Consortium to hold Teacher Strong, a virtual conference for new teachers, on Feb. 15 and April 6 for PreK-4 teachers and Feb. 16 and April 7 for grades 5-12 teachers.

Sessions will cover classroom culture and motivation, social-emotional supports, student engagement, high-quality instruction and supporting struggling students.

The focus for the February sessions will be to help teachers stay strong while providing practical strategies and supports that can be implemented immediately into classroom practice.

The April sessions will help teachers finish strong and provide motivation and encouragement to complete this year with passion and purpose.

Conference fee includes: admission to this two-day motivational conference, 1.0 CEU, a Teacher Strong T-shirt for Day 2, and an opportunity to collaborate and build a positive community with other new teachers across the state.
