The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) will present the Supplemental Digital Subscription Plan to the State Board of Education for approval Dec. 16. This plan will provide access to digital subscriptions in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science for students, teachers, schools, and districts at no cost.
The supplemental digital plan will provide equitable access to programming that supports the Mississippi College and Career Readiness Standards and complements a school’s High-Quality Instructional Materials in the aforementioned content areas.
The survey was developed to assist with determining a starting n-count; however, districts must opt-in by close of business (5 p.m.) Thursday, Dec. 16, to participate in this program.
If a district has submitted a response to the survey but needs to make an adjustment after the SBE meeting, please email Elizabeth Simmons at esimmons@mdek12.org by 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16.
