The Mississippi Department of Education Office of Secondary Education, in partnership with the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB), will host teacher trainings for the SREB Ready and Essentials for College courses this summer.
These trainings are required for teachers who will be teaching an SREB Ready or an Essentials for College course in ELA/Literacy or Math during the 2024-2025 school year – who have NOT attended the training in previous years. These virtual trainings will be provided at no-cost to public school teachers in Mississippi. Teachers must currently have a 119 license endorsement to participate in the ELA/Literacy session or a 154 license endorsement for Math. CEUs available.
To allow for various scheduling constraints, we are offering two 3-day sessions to choose from. Each subject-area session will accommodate 60 participants total.
NOTE: Teachers will need to sign up for only ONE of the sessions with the attached link.
