The Center for Mathematics and Science Education (CMSE) at The University of Mississippi will be hosting a special professional development opportunity Jan. 13-14, 2022 at the University of Mississippi – Jackson Avenue Center.
In this two-day, face-to-face workshop, participants will learn how to find, evaluate, and use historical primary sources from the Library of Congress in their science lesson planning. Participants will develop and revise an interdisciplinary science lesson plan or course module using the Library’s Teaching with Primary Sources materials.
This event is funded in part by a grant from the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources. Teacher stipends will be provided for travel and attendance.
A non-refundable seat deposit of $30 must be received to confirm your registration. Seating for this event is limited. Once the seating capacity is reached additional registrants will be added to a waitlist.
