Mississippi State University’s Center for Cyber Education is currently offering an incentive for schools to bring the AP Cybersecurity course to their district. Application deadline is April 24. The following will be provided for qualifying candidates:
- Registration fee for CollegeBoard training covered ($1,075 value)
- If you select the Univ. of TN Chattanooga training location (June 21-25), the following additional cost may be covered:
- Hotel cost covered ($550 value). If you select another location or date, you are responsible for the hotel cost.
- Transportation – if you come to Starkville to ride with the group. If you select another location or date or prefer a different method of transportation, you are responsible for the cost.
Up to six participants will be selected. To qualify you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a valid Mississippi secondary teaching license.
- Be currently employed as a high school teacher for a Mississippi school district for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Attend one of the CollegeBoard training sessions this summer: Click for All Locations (filter by subject: AP Career Kickstart Cyber).
- Return the Commitment Agreement document which will need to be signed by you and your principal.
