The Mississippi Department of Education will host a one-hour training webinar at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12, for prospective teachers of the Bridge-to-Career course starting January 2026. Presented by the course developer, the session will cover curriculum, standards, and include time for questions and networking.
Approved in April 2025, the Bridge-to-Career course offers an alternative to passing one or more End-of-Course (EOC) assessments for qualifying 5th-year seniors for Fall 2025 and 4th-year seniors beginning January 2026. The course may only be taken in the second semester of the senior year and taught by any secondary-endorsed teacher.
