With the support of the Woodward Hines Education Foundation, W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and Strada Education Foundation, career exploration nonprofit Roadtrip Nation is sending three young adults (ages 18-26) on a free, life-changing journey throughout the Magnolia State to discover all kinds of career paths and opportunities based around their interests. Deadline to apply is June 22.
Along the way, these individuals will gain real-world insights, career inspiration, and invaluable mentorship to learn how they can make the best of their future right here at home. Many Mississippians think they need to leave the state to succeed, but this program should reveal otherwise. The road trip will be filmed as part of Roadtrip Nation’s long-running documentary series for public television, so the insights and inspiration from the journey will show others just how many opportunities Mississippi has to offer.
Individuals interested in exploring all sorts of different career paths in their own backyard and learning how they can make their mark on Mississippi are encouraged to apply at the following link: roadtripnation.smapply.org/prog/mississippi_roadtrip/.
