Mississippi Votes will host its second annual Summer Youth Policy Institute June 1-7. The institute is a free, residential camp at Millsaps College open to rising 11th and 12th graders from across the state.
The institute will provide students with hands-on experiences in policymaking, including mock legislative sessions, museum tours in the Jackson metro area and the Mississippi Delta, and panel discussions with experts and legislators. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of government, history, and civic engagement.
