The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) will honor and celebrate outstanding administrators, teachers, and parents during the annual Mississippi Administrator and Teacher of the Year Awards Program. Each school district should nominate a district administrator, teacher, and parent of the year. The procedure used to select the district administrator, teacher, and parent is determined by the school district.

Submit the original application (sections 1-5) to: specialprograms@mdek12.org and mail 4 stapled copies of sections 2-5 (include a cover sheet with the candidate’s name and school district) postmarked by January 9, 2025 to:
