Demystifying Dyslexia – This April 2025 Cohort (100 seats available) is a self-paced, virtual training for K-5 general education teachers, reading interventionists, K-8 special education teachers, and leaders. This training introduces dyslexia, a language-based learning disability that is estimated to affect 5-20% of the population. The content of this training explains the origin of dyslexia, key characteristics of the disability, and the necessary elements to support these individuals inside and outside of the classroom environment.

Participants must have completed a Level 1 Course (Pathways to Proficient Reading OR Pathways to Literacy Leadership) to register for this Level 2 Course.

The course will run from April 4 through June 13 and will include three hours of e-learning coursework. Seats are limited. Participants who complete the online Demystifying Dyslexia training will receive a certificate of completion and are eligible for three hours for continuing education units (0.3 CEUs).
