At REACH MS we believe that every student has the right to an inclusive and accessible education. That’s why we are excited to invite you to our Universal Design for Learning: Introduction to Guiding Principles Training. This two-day, no-cost training will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to create a classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of your students. Our training will provide an overview of Universal Design for Learning and delve into the three Guiding Principles of UDL: Engagement, Representation, and Action & Expression. You will learn about the cognitive neuroscience and behavior theory that support UDL, how to read the UDL Guidelines and Checkpoints, and how to align them with the Teacher Growth Rubric. You will also get to create UDL Action Plans for use in the classroom for each of the 3 UDL Principles. Plus, did we mention you can earn CEUs (1.0) and SEMIs (5) while participating in this fun professional learning opportunity? Don’t miss out! Join us today!
