REACH MS is offering a free, online and self-paced Early Childhood Tier 1 Training from March 14 through April 18. Participants can earn CEUs and SEMIs.
This eight-module online training will provide participants the opportunity to learn about building relationships and components of high quality supportive early childhood environments. Topics discussed include fostering connections, behaviors that push our buttons, environmental cues, learning centers, schedules, routines, transitions, group activities, engagement, directions, expectations and rules, the Behavior Incident Reporting System (BIRs), classroom management systems and positive descriptive feedback.
The training is available through Canvas, REACH MS’s virtual professional development format. This is a self-paced training via recordings and activities. Participants will be asked to complete a pretest, questions/activities, and a posttest. CEUs (1.1) and SEMIs (5) have been approved.
Prior to the training, registrants will receive a confirmation email that will provide more specific details and will include the information needed to access the REACH MS Canvas website. The training opens on Monday, March 14, and closes on Monday, April 18.
