Professional learning opportunity focuses on strategies for student engagement

The Highly Engaged Classroom: Strategies for Student Engagement is a professional learning opportunity that focuses on how to engage students with researched based practices that will have them reading, writing, thinking and talking in every class, every day. The facilitator uses an aligned instructional framework that focuses on six learner centered strategies. These strategies include Reading for Learning, Writing for Learning, Discussion for Learning, Collaboration for Learning, Feedback for Learning and Questioning for Learning.
