LETRS for Early Childhood Educators (Pre-K) is a professional learning opportunity for pre-k teachers, early childhood coaches, and administrators of early childhood programs. This course is intended to empower preschool teachers to understand the what, why, and how of early literacy instruction, providing teacher clarity of proven evidence-based and developmentally appropriate instructional strategies through purposeful play. Preschool teachers can then ensure early learners master literacy and language skills proven to be critical for later success when entering kindergarten and beyond. The course’s information and techniques also are important for kindergarten teachers whose young students have not yet learned these vital early literacy skills needed during the first few years of school.
