Phonics First K-5 and 6-12 literacy courses offered through RESA -

The Mississippi Department of Education Office of Special Education announces that the Phonics First Level I and Structures Level I courses are being offered through the Regional Education Service Agencies (RESA) sign-up process, and the courses are now posted on the RESA website.

The courses will be in-person, livestreamed, and self-paced. The in-person and livestreamed courses must be completed in five consecutive days, while the self-paced will continue to be virtual with 30 days to complete the coursework. The course seating is limited, and registration closes (approximately 30 days) prior to the course start date. Teachers should read course descriptions carefully to ensure they will be able to meet the rigorous demands of completing the coursework.
