The Office of Special Education is happy to announce that eleven additional Teacher Resource Guides (TRG), aligned with the Mississippi Alternate Academic Achievement Standards (MS AAAS), have been developed and added to the MDE Special Education website. The TRGs are designed to provide a resource for special education teachers with a basis for curriculum development and instructional delivery.

- Career Readiness III and IV
The Teacher Resource Guides for K-8 ELA and K-8 Math will be released later this school year.
The 2020 Mississippi Accountability Standards manual has now been posted to the Office of Accreditation’s website. Appendix A-10 has information about the alternate diploma and the general education course substitutions.
