The NASA MS Space Grant Consortium Annual Teachers Conference is set for Jan. 6-7, 2023. The conference is designed for 5th–8th grade math and science teachers and is cohosted by Mississippi Space Grant Consortium (MSSGC) and the Center for Mathematics and Science Education (CMSE) with engaging professional development sessions in both content areas. Sessions are facilitated by NASA Aerospace Education Specialists, MSSGC and CMSE graduate fellows, and university faculty.
Math and Science teachers in 5th – 8th grades are invited to attend. Teachers attending for the first time will be given priority. Teachers who attend the entire conference will be eligible for a $75 stipend and 1.2 continuing education units (CEUs).
