Mississippi Office of Homeland Security (MOHS) Physical Security Data Collection

The Mississippi Office of Homeland Security (MOHS) is initiating a project to begin collecting physical security data from schools across the state. This project is designed to collect school safety data that can be used to apply for federal grants and to give state leadership a better understanding of the security gaps faced in schools across the state. MOHS has assigned project coordinator, Mr. Jim Brown, to collect the information for this project and to develop a gap analysis of the findings. This is not a graded assessment or an evaluation and although participation is helpful, it is not required.  Before arriving at your school district, Mr. Brown will set up a meeting and brief you on the project details.
