Mississippi High-Dosage Tutoring Guidebook released; Webinar set for Aug. 4

The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) Academic Office in partnership with Chiefs for Change has released the Mississippi High-Dosage Tutoring Guidebook for districts and schools. The guidebook includes resources, suggestions, and strategies to support the implementation of effective tutoring practices. Districts will also have access to a tutoring calculator that can be used to determine the number of tutors needed to effectively serve students within a school or program.

The Office of Intervention Services will host a webinar at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, to introduce the Mississippi High-Dosage Tutoring Guidebook and tutoring calculator. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions to develop a deeper understanding of how to implement these supports in a variety of settings.
