Mark your calendars for the 2026 Mississippi Energy Education Workshop, a free professional development opportunity for 4th-12th grade science, afterschool, and CTE teachers.
Hosted by the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) Energy & Natural Resources Division and the National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project, this workshop is designed to help educators implement energy education programs in their classrooms.
What to Expect
Attendees will receive:
- State standards-aligned curriculum and teaching tips.
- Hands-on activities focusing on the science of energy and energy sources.
- Breakfast and lunch provided.
- Six Continuing Education Units (CEUs) available upon completion.
