The Mississippi Council on Economic Education (MCEE) designated eight schools “Mississippi Banner Schools” for demonstrating success in achieving students who are economically and financially prepared to participate in the real world. Each school will be presented with a banner and $500 in student scholarships.

Bassfield High School, Jefferson Davis County School District
Carver Elementary School, Jefferson Davis County School District
Coahoma Jr. High School, Coahoma County School District
Germantown High School, Madison County School District
Greenwood Middle School, Greenwood Public School District
JFK Memorial High School, North Bolivar Consolidated School District
Northwest Rankin Middle School, Rankin County School District
Ocean Springs High School, Ocean Springs School District
