The Mississippi Book Festival will host two virtual author visits on Thursday, Sept. 12 and Friday, Sept. 13, for fourth-sixth grade students.
Mississippi native, Angie Thomas, will talk about her new book Nic Blake and the Remarkables: The Manifestor Prophecy at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 12. Kate DiCamillo will discuss her book Ferris at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 13. As an added gift to support literacy, copies of the books will be donated to the libraries of participating schools.
