The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) invites stakeholders to complete a brief survey as part of the effort to review and validate the 2018 Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards (MS CCRS) for Science.
The MDE encourages stakeholders to provide comments on the effectiveness of the current Mississippi College and Career Ready Standards (MS CCRS) for Science in reflecting essential student knowledge and skills, and that the standards are concise, grade-level appropriate, adequately sequenced for learning progression, have no content or skill gaps, and are free of grammatical errors and redundancy; or provide specific, actionable feedback on any standard(s) or performance objective(s) not meeting this criterion.
The survey can be accessed by accessing the link below and will be available from April 15 – May 6, 2025.
