In September 2020, the MDE released K-12 Instructional Planning Guides (IPGs) in ELA, Math, and Science to support teachers with planning thoughtful units of study based on the MS College- and Career-Readiness Standards.
The IPGs were released in DRAFT form to allow for immediate implementation as schools re-opened this Fall due to COVID-19. As teachers close out the 1st semester, we would like to prepare final, updated versions of the IPGs for a January 2021 release.
We humbly request that K-12 teachers reflect on their use of the IPGs over the last few months, and provide any feedback in the areas listed below by emailing InstructionalPlanningGuides@mdek12.org by Monday, December 28, 2020 at 8:00a.
