MDE Partners with Johns Hopkins University to Provide Early Warning System Training

The Mississippi Department of Education offices of Compulsory School Attendance Enforcement, School Improvement and Elementary Education and Reading are partnering with Johns Hopkins University to provide training for school district teams regarding early identification of students who are at risk based on:

  • Attendance
  • Behavior
  • Course Performance

Sessions were held on February 5 at Delta State University and in Natchez and Clinton on February 6 and February 7, respectively.
