MDE offers free summer online book study courses; Register May 22-29

The Mississippi Department of Education, through the Office of Professional Development, is announcing open registration for summer online book study courses. These courses are offered free of charge to help support educators as they strive to improve student achievement. Registration is available May 22-May 29 on the MDE PD calendar found on Trumba.

Seats are still available for the following book studies*:

  • A Framework for Understanding Poverty
  • Answers to Your Biggest Questions About Teaching Secondary Math
  • I Wish My Teacher Knew
  • Know Better, Do Better
  • Next Level Teaching
  • Positive Mindset Habits for Teachers
  • Seen, Heard, Valued
  • Specially Designed Instruction
  • Teaching with Love and Logic
  • The Big Book of Tools for Collaborative Teams in a PLC
  • The Imperfect and Unfinished Math Teacher

 *Participants are responsible for purchasing their own books after registering.

CEUs are available upon successful completion for a processing fee. SEMI and OSL credits are free of charge for courses as indicated in the catalog.
