Executive Order 1476 Regarding School Closure
Gov. Tate Reeves issued Executive Order 1476 on April 22, 2020, that outlines expectations for districts for continued student learning during the extended school closure. Per the Executive Order, districts have until June 1, 2020, to submit plans to the Mississippi State Board of Education outlining their summer learning and enrichment measures to mitigate the effects of the school closure. By May 1, 2020, MDE will send districts a template for completing their plans.
